Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time

Game wont launch. Asks to switch display to 256 colors at 640 x 480 resolution.
I click launch and that game tells me that it needs to switch to 256 color mode, preferably at 640 x 480. Clicking OK does nothing. How do I fix such a tragedy of an issue?

Go to the exe file, right click and go to compability mode, tick 640x480 box, tick run in reduced color mode, tick run in administration mode, and perhaps try a compability mode of windows 7 or even xp.
It's a long shot but might work, alternatively try check nvidia geforce settings and manually add the game there and try some settings.

I am lucky i guess it works out of the box for me (Windows 10).

Overall check this forum it seems more people got a lot of issues with it.

Thank you for reply but no amount of changing the settings under properties/compatibility fixed the issue. Trying to run it under Windows 95 or 98 would give me an 'out of memory' error. All others gave me the same error of 256 color mode. Any other suggestions?

Maybe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RrIfHYWvbpE

Only other way i can suggest is nvidia control panel, and choose manually this game, and then change whatever setting that could make sense (There are so many to name them out of my head).

Well and get use of Vmware, eventually this will happen to most of our games unless someone will come with a dosbox but for windows, but that will be a small chance.
