Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time

Titanic: Adventure Out Of Time

For those experiencing audio cutting off during conversations or other compatibility anomalies.
I have a modern PC. The only compatibility issue I had was the audio cutting off prematurely during conversations. I did not have to set any compatibility settings or anything. I run windows 10 x64 with a GTX 980 and an Intel I7 5960x.

To fix the audio cutting off or other compatibility issues you simply must set the game to use only one core of your CPU (Most everyone is running a multi-core CPU, this game was designed in the days of single core CPUs.

To set the game to use a single CPU do the following:
1. Right-click on your desktop and create a shortcut. When it asks you for the path enter in this command followed by the location of the game in your directory. This is where it is in an example from my PC.

C:\Windows\System32\cmd.exe /c start "Titanic" /affinity 1 "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Titanic - Adventure Out Of Time\TI.EXE"

For those with high resolution monitors you will not get the full screen experience. It looks like the game runs in its native resolution of 800x600. I would not consider this a compatibility issue rather they way the game was originally designed. The screen is large enough to play the game without issues in my opinion.

This will force the game executable to use only one CPU core allowing the game to play flawlessly. The game is only $1.50 well worth the price. I have played it through several times no crashes or other bugs to report.
