Game crashes while picking up a gun

In the chapter 6, after the glass has broken, i can pick up a weapon but the game crashes saying this: http://puu.sh/3zmxD.jpg
How can i solve this bug/crash/Whatever it is.

In short: Make sure you got advanced PhysX in the game options. Or there is also this uploaded zip in that thread. Maybe that helps.

I've yet resolved the problem, was the italian patch who makes problem, i reinstalled it and it went without problems.

Yup, I can confirm this, just in the meaning that I've seen something about it, I tried to find a language patch after buying a key for Steam version which unfortunately only has eng-fra-ger-rus languages, other than being vanished from the store, I solved the situation buying a physical copy with the correct language and which (should) even allows me to install the latest patch for the game, avaliable here http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=7825

I'd rather have the game here on Steam with every language and patched to the latest version but unfortunately they seem to not care too much about this truly good game.

This game is really good, but is not optimised very well, i've yet ended it without the patch, it is really good.

it was really heavy on hardware requirements at the release date due to both physx and dx10 implementations, with current hardware is no more a problem, I think even a flat 660 can crunch it for breakfast. Yup, not for everyone but definitely a damn good game.
