How to move wagons to the train depot in the realistic mode?

I can move them to the train distribution office by getting a train into a depot and setting a manual route CO(load trains)->distribution office(unload trains) but it is impossible to define a similar route from a CO to a depot route because the depot accepts no goods to unload. It rises a bar for setting up any train routes in the realistic mode because it requires to built a train distribution office which is a pretty resource-consuming structure. It would be nice to tune the train depot in a way the wagons can be unloaded there.

Buy this at the Customs house and then transport it by road to the construction office.

Just set up to load on border and do nothing in depot. It gonna pull as many as it could form up at lenght of customs house and drop them in groups of five, so make shure to have enogh place in depot and free loco to group them into long train in one spot, as you can't couple lone wagons. At least it worked that way when picking up from factory in past versions.

Here's a followup question: how to do this using nothing but ships? I take it you actually require a container harbor of some kind to do so?

Container harbour with direct rail connection for pickup. And vanilla one have really short track that can form up just three wagons at the time. Trains won't transfer by factory connection.

@Stele's reply was correct - set a route with a pick up anything at the customs house and doing nothing at the depot (just don't tick the "wait until loaded" at the customs house).

dont work form me, train just go to customs and not picking any wagons :( heeeeelp and thanks

Outside of what I said before, loco can't be on fuel reserve. If it's new, it will back off to customs withour refueling, but won't pick up any cargo.
