water polution doesn´t change

Hello dear Devs. In my recent test branch game I made the decision to dump the toxic high poluted water from my chemical polant directly into a small lake , from which I collect industriall water from a surface water outflow. I´ve benn running the chemical plant for 2 months now and the level of water polution hasn´t changed yet. Is this intented? Greetings

My guess is that this part of the water infrastructure hasn't been properly balance yet - or to be more precise: I believe that there is something fishy with the surface water outflow. Whereever I put it so far, I got 77% water quality. Which is itself pretty bad as wells fluctuate between 95-96% in untouched parts of the maps and get gradually worse towards populated areas and especially polluting industries. Honestly, I haven't managed to find a well spot yet with a quality of 77% only... So in the case you are describing the pollution you cause might just not matter - either because the surface outflow is really always at that percentage or the pollution calculation inside your lake creates water above said 77% and the outflow "reduces" it to that quality.

I can only affirm that. Also the level of water pollution isn´t affected by industrial pollution.
In my recent game I tried to provide toxic industrial waste water to my prisoneers in my prison , which has been built in close vicinity to a heavily polluted area. Unfortunately the prisoneers won´t die.

Is the health of the wardens effected? I guess the prisoners are acting like customers in a shop and don't use water.

Unfortunately the wardens have serious health issues , but it seems that the prisoners aren´t affected by the toxic waste water
