  • Fixed problem with assigning cars to citizens with the specific setting (other than "Only university educated")

Anybody know what the cablecars were upgraded to? I want to say the big ones were 0.75ton pre-patch...

Light ones are like 1,2 tons and heavy ones are like 4,5 tons
Since 0.8.0.17 I haven't seen empty flatbeds trying to deliver mechanisms to construction jobs so that issue appears fixed.

I just got a dumper stuck trying to unload at a construction site (road), these get cleared by saving/reloading save. I speculate some attribute in the road being built causes this since stopping and restarting the construction causes the next vehicle that arrives to get stuck as well.

If there was a way to "inspect" road/vehicle attributes to help troubleshooting I could give it a try.

I suggest the dev consider adding a despawn timeout to stuck vehicles (something like what happens to vehicles in cities skylines when there are traffic jams). I have had republics collapse because of a construction related traffic jam causing a cascade failure.
Am I crazy or did the last update on the test branch either update the standard map, or there is a random map generator now?

But there are a few small problems. Not affecting the game fundamentally.
For some reason, the forklift stopped in the middle of the road. Unfortunately, I can’t recreate the situation. If it repeats, I will collect more information and report to you. The problem was solved by selling a forklift.

From time to time, collapse occurs and all loaders stop. As I understand it, they carry cargo, cannot unload and ride around. The problem was also solved by the sale.

In general, the game becomes much more interesting, and a lot of errors are fixed.

I've stopped playing for months now and check the game updates every once in a while. No update since october 2019..

So has there been an update since? I don't care about test branches, they don't count

There are multiple threads with patch notes like this. The game gets updated on a weekly basis, sometimes even more often. Just look at the section of the forum that is literally called "Test branch - New version testing".
The current beta has ships, cableways, forklifts, and more.

The test branch exists, because the dev doesn't want to push bugs and crashes into the main game. The current version of the beta is fairly stable though.

Can't get rid of it. Some ghost is hunting me...

I guess it has struck again.

Meanwhile, I have found out what the culprit is:

I had one city where all the vehicles bunched up because one bus would not leave the station.
Sold all of them, except one. Traffic jam cleared up, but that bus still didn't want to enter that station.

Removed that one and the sound issue was gone. I've sent savegames to our dev-comrades.

Go to.list of vehicles from tip menu.. and use LCtrl + B hold to display position instead name of vehicle.. find vehicle with inf nan or such bad position and sell it...

at .18 build game started to load first map much longer than in previous builds.

Try.. activate cheat mode.. hold C+H+E all together. Then go to.list of vehicles from tip menu.. and use LCtrl + P hold to display position instead name of vehicle.. find vehicle with inf nan or such bad position and sell it...
yes i have the same problem! i followed your instructions but when i press Lctrl + P i get a message "new path finding " but after that nothing happens... what am i supposed to do next?
