People are moving into cities all over the map - how to fix that issue?
I started playing on the Slovakia map with no people in the houses. I created my first town in Malacky. However, at some point, I realized that the unemployment rate was very high (33%) and buildings still lacked workers. Upon reviewing the statistics, I noticed that people had moved into empty towns all across the map.

Is there a way to quickly evict or relocate them to my main town? I am aware that I can do this manually by clicking on each building and then selecting available space in my main town, Malacky. However, this process would be extremely time-consuming. :steamfacepalm:

Because of that I consider to start the game again, but never with empty towns!

Now I understand that I should click on each town's title on the map and uncheck the box to prevent people from moving in. But I did it too late. Anyway it is quite bothersome to locate all the towns and click on each one, particularly when dealing with such expansive maps. I think the checkbox should be unchecked by default. What do you think?

If you started on a populated map with the slider for people put to zero then there is no worries.

This is a feature since like ever. A different game mode if you like. I consider it easier, especially since this version you can put the workers for construction sites to zero by default.

In this 'mode' unemployed people will go (back) into hibernation mode and wont age, make babies nor suffer from missing water, electricity or "in house heating". The only free time activity they want then is either none, visit doctor or praying. They wont loose any happiness or health by not getting those needs met.
As soon as they are working somewhere you have to 'pay' for there work by providing free time activities, keep pollution down and provide heat, water and electricity. They will make babies and start to age in return.

Note that this is different if you build normal houses somewhere. Then you have to provide everything like if you had started on an empty map.

I do not know a way to automatically bring them back to your active town, do it by hand or do not let them spread to inactive towns in the first place (deactivating allow citizens),
except you build your own 'normal' houses. Then you could tick the check box to take people from the map. This would bring in 21+ from active towns and all people from inactive towns.

To make this easier one can use the buildings list and click each town from the list instead of searching them on the map

I would deactivate crime and building maintenance on populated maps to not loose too much hair.

I know I can ignore the initial cities and leave checked option, to make people move in these places, but there are 2 problems with that:

1. I keep getting notifications about low loyalty in buildings that are away from my main town.
2. The unemployment statistics are inaccurate because the game is also counting people who are in hibernation mode.

In this post, my intention was to highlight the issue of every town having checkboxes pre-selected.

Also I think it should be possible to evict whole town, not by clicking every building.
