The DO above take containers directly and take them to the sorting facility.

They drop it off here where it´s sorted and burnt.

- sorted (for now) unusable waste is exported to customs (metal, plastic and such scrap),
- construction waste is already delivered to special storage near its recycling plant
- hazardous waste goes DIRECTLY to incinerator plant (to prioduce electricity)
- biowaste is transported to composting plant/farm dropoffs, and
- mixed waste is dropped DIRECTLY at a dump plateau (or what is it in-game english name) connected wia factory connection to separation plant, which draws it automatically in, sort that thing inside and what is left goes via another garbage-plateau (not containers!) through two factory connections to that incinerator listed above.
Works perfectly and on the outcome of incinerator I have larger dump with claw to load (pretty fast) to separate DO that transport ashes to dumps nearby, where is slowly degrades by itself.
The only "flaw" of this system is that you need a separate truck (or build another container stands) for people from separation plant and the incinerator (and probably send that waste directly to incinerator anyway).
I have no idea why you have built unloading stations connected to container stands, as yes - plain waste loading from dumps without a claw/via factory connections is really slow.
But there is generally no need for such workaround
That prevented my jail trucks to unload workers.
Later on I expect more trucks and even a train to come here.
Can you post some?
They're stored in internal aggregate storages in the separation plants, and are best removed from the building by using the aggregate conveyor connection, even if it is as simple as connecting a aggregate loading station directly to the plant.
Now I am trying to manange the fertilizer and I actually need to add a new border point to my map to do so as the train loading of fertilzer and unloading of ash and excess trash clogs up the border connections.
This is probably not a huge problem when you play this game starting from scratch but using it as a giant model railway world it does pose a big challenge
Well this works for one city but if you run a country like me with 12 cities and 120k+ citizens this won't cut it. I only handle normal, hazard and bio waste in the containers.
I need to drop off the trash near the city, have a distribution centre transport it to a train waste site between multiple cities and transport it by train to a recycling town dedicated to waste handling.
The way to do it is the one Mr Krabs showed in the first picture as it is the fastest and the least clog up way as loading and unloading is done at different spots. Just don't ever think to load over the factory connect as it would be snails speed. Just unload at the loading bay and unload directly form the container wastesite
The second pic does not apply to me as I use trains but for smaller installments this is fastest too
Trying this
EDIT - original screenshot didn´t work, but you can see it in my video here on time 12:49, hope it helps and stay here

Legend:
left area - separation plant (actually no waste dump on the start) -> small dump -> incinerator to power -> dump with claw
right area "starting setup" - dump for mixed waste -> incinerator -> dump with claw
Current setup - I tend to import more hazardous waste to "old" incinerator and then I send via DO ashes to separation plant to sort it out and let it go through "new" setup (separation+incinerator power plant).
No need for huge loading stations
This setup actually blew my mind. I didn’t knew, what this container stands were for.
Thank you for that
