You only will need 1 connection in and out dont overdo it
Any Building that needs cement you can attach via Factory connection and it will supply the cement for that factory... otherwise you need to use trucks or Drybulk mover transfer whatever Magigies
you do not need both connections but you got the choice of which works better for you.
factory connection is cheaper but has a very limited range. if you build a silo right next to the cement plant it should be more cost efficviant. you can also use it to connect regular cargo stations (truck, train, ship)
the conveyor connection is some more expensive but you can build it basicly across the map if you desire so. so if there is a prefab plant half a kilometer away and you rather not have trucks run that distance all the time, a conveyor is the better choice. it can also go over roads, paths, rails and other conveyors if need be.
