How to turn off auto purchase?

In the 'buy menu', hit the large red 'X' that says something to the effect of clear all or cancel all.

Selecting any of houses in the build menu gives u opportunity to disable buying people automatically (on the right again).

I have pushed the BIG RED CROSS but it just keep on going back to the same Pub/Supermarket and tell me it is on. If I change it to manual - the Auto-Purchase seems to override it. For context - good are delivered to a warehouse and another distribution centre send it from warehouse to the shops. What else am I missing?

I suppose you are in a the tutorial, dont remember exactly how it went there, but it might be that the alert is lagging - that the auto purchase is disabled but it still remembers things being auto bought and showing you the last place it happened, so maybe give it time.

edit: you can check if after pressing the BIG RED CROSS, does it show up again if you go there? If not then its off, if yes it could be a tutorial glitch and i'd try rebuilding the pub - but before you place it look at bottom right menu - you can disable auto purchase there as well.
