OR you can maybe go to the online music streaming service named spotify and find the music you want to hear and make a play list.
( super pro tip.. if you use firefox and install Adblocker addon then it will block the audio commericals that play now and then on spotify so you only hear music ;-) )
(I HIGHLY recommend that game's music here for the proper atmosphere. in my opinion of course)
Outstanding recommendation, comrade!
To be fair, the soundtrack is simply music by the Red Army Choir. They have a bunch of high-quality recordings that fit the atmosphere really well. Having tried to replace the audio files myself, I must agree with Delle. It's just easier to run Spotify or another music player on the background.
You should also check out Sovietwave and traditional balalaika bands! ;)
I just can't take the weird carnival-like songs in this one.
Just don’t forget to rename extension name from .xwm to .xwma
Music appreciation is obviously subjective, but Red Army guys singing revolutionary songs and marches seems perfectly appropriate for a game about building a Soviet republic to me.
