it means as soon as 20% is surpassed a vehicle will load up to the entire storage if a delivery demands it.
truck Do's behave the same, however a truckload will most likely not empty out a sizeable storage, wile a train with 5 boxcars might.
it sending all the wagons out if there is not enought to load is a bit odd, did you perhaps sellect minimum train size in dte RDO by mistake?
There's a "Minimum Train Size"? I haven't seen that setting.. I'll have to look for it next time I play.
Ah.. Hmm.. Well that's unexpected behavior. I mean if that's the case, then what I'm seeing makes sense. It's just.. well, it would be useful to have a "minimum stockpile" amount that Distribution Offices will respect.
if you have a 1000t storage and set it to 50%, a train will go there at 501t stored.
if the train can load 250t your minimum stockpile will be 251t
if you set it to 30% your minimum stockpile will be 51t
but it can even be a challenge since box cars load different amounts of goods too. eg. a box car can load a lot of fabric but very little chemicals. It's possible to compensate this in the storage house settings, so you lower the % for fabric in the destination storage house, but increase the one for chemicals. I try to have the total storage capacity within a single storage building (or multiple storage buildings attached to the same cargo train station) aligned for all goods (eg. 50t for everything)
