How to transport metro to the locomotive depot

Hi guys I have a problem with metro on realistic mode. I built the metro line with stations and everything, electrified it as well. However when it comes to buying the metro and starting the line I cannot transport the metro from depot to locomotive depot. Also I don't want to build a separate metro truck, moreover I have made the truck electrified but still nothing happens.
It is not possible for metro to drive over normal trucks that's why they have to use dedicated one?
So if someone could tell me how to ransport I would be glad.

You need a train depot that is connected to both your metro network and has a railway connection to the customs house you are importing the metro trains from, and then you need a locomotive to tow the metro trains to the depot, where you can then assign them to stops in the metro network.

In place of the customs house, you can also use a space for vehicles connected to a harbor and import metro trains via ship.
