This causes the mixed waste you take to the incinerator is completely burnable and the only thing that comes out is ash.
If you leave the separation of metals out ( deliver all mixed waste directly to the incinerator ) the incinerator refuses to burn all of it, and you will get ashes and metal waste. Since you can't get rid of it but separating it, it will pile up until it clogs up your incinerator and it stops functioning.
I also tested your setup before i looked into the forum and it seems that you can work with just a garbage burner but you need to transport the export waste into the complex i discribed above. The ash runs through and the other waste gets seperated.
Remember that technical office doesn't take waste from dumps (both with clamps and without) or transfers for big waste containers, it can only deliver waste to them.
Personally I connect dump to incinerator and incinerator is connected to general separation. Ash slowly disappears by itself from dump but sadly single dump is to slow to get rid it. I use 2 distribution offices, first brings mixed waste from transfers for big containers to general separation, second removes excess of ash to either more dumps or border. Using only one distribution office could result in waste trucks feeding ash back to general separation and that results in pointless loop.
