Real transport and traffic simulations have "rush hours" patterns, or seasonal patterns the network designed by the player has to deal with.
I play many building games.
Anno 1800 for the 1800 style with the new world which i quiet like.
Cities skylines is more a model city for me but i also like this approach for a game.
I like to build something beatiful or at least try it and then to watch my people use train, tram etc to cruise through the city. Its not complex but cities sklyines sells the dream of building a city and watching it. You can build parks, zoos, universities, sport complexes and your people use it actually. Nothing like seeing some little dude trying to get to point xy 8kms away.
Workers and ressources for the complexity and i also like the whole style of the game.
Its a little bit more straight to the point with the sim behaviour then cities sklyines.
I will with big chances buy also cities sklyines 2 as well as the coming dlcs for workers and ressources.
