How do I remove this small road piece?

I cannot select it for removal without removing entire neghbour roads :(

Welp, seconds after posting this found a hack: start upgrading it to a higher tier road, select and then demolish.

Maybe it would be useful for someone :)

Thats most likely game error and not maybe even connect proper. cause it shows all red and not those dots press H key u should see dots if there is intersection. If not U need delete the whole thing. it just seem like its not connect proper for graphics even the sidewalk in asphalt.

You have only 1 option! just delete autobuild or wait contruction and you good to go.

Stop using the bulldozer, use the road removal tool.
This tool should allow you to select and remove the section between the two purple markers.

road removal tool not help if game had add connection false connection. it removes all so its almost same use bulldozer. it might cause crash or whatever just pause game. actually a hint every time you do delete signals or roads between tracks pause game to avoid crashes it will help ya while u do it add signals or delete those existing tracks.

Use the road removal tool. Just be careful. Start from the one point (f.e. from the left) and finish as far as possible from the second (in the picture it will somewhere near with the enter to the underground sidewalk). In such case it will not remove connected road parts.

Choose road removal tool, hold shift and drag a area that only covers the little piece you want to delete.
