Report a translation problem
The boat will travel to the border under its own power and then you'll get the money once it reaches the edge of the map.
This only applies to boats you just built though.
I didn't find a way to export, it would be easier to administer if it were possible automatically.
Planes are done in the exactly same way. When building for export, it is best to build as large vehicle as possible, since it extends time you have to send already finished one, without blocking another construction.
I made the tutorial helped to understand the process, however there is no automatic way. Thanks for the tip.
Perhaps the developer wants the player to devote attention to this process.
It's probably considered a minor issue in the overall development plan and if so would be reserved for post 1.0-release changes to the game.
