Question about the train distribution office
I built a big distribution hub with one train cargo station (the big one with six tracks) connected to multiple warehouses and open storage (each warehouse and open storage is specialized for 1-2 items).

I set up a train distribution office to automatically refill my hub from the border when the storage levels drop below 50%.

But it's not working. As soon as something is taken from the train cargo station (say 100t of prefab in prefab storage 100% full), the train distribution office immediately dispatches a train to refill the prefab storage even if it only drops to 90% (and not 50%).

What I'm doing wrong?

Can you show a screenshot with your settings in the RDO and the buildings?

But the behavior is definitely strange.

Yesterday, I saw a train withdrawing 24t of food from the "food warehouse" in my "distribution hub"; the storage percentage stayed at ~100%. However, the train distribution office in charge of keeping the warehouse over 50% sent a train with 8 boxcars to the border to load only 24t of food and refill the "food warehouse."

There are some bugged behaviors around RDOs recently. For example I am having (correctly set, trust me, no screens ready) RDO to pickup alcohol from similar setup and export it when it reaches 90%. Attached warehouse has ca 350t assigned capacity of alcohol.

Warehouse was at 0% full (empty).

Train line from brewery has been coming with 186t of alcohol, stopped at city on the way, unloaded around 30t into city storage and continued to main hub. BEFORE the brewery line even got near the hub station, RDO dispatched a full train to load alcohol from the hub.

Keep in mind the hub is totally empty and even those 186t won´t make it exceed the treshold, not are those 150t that are still on the way.

Result? Brewery train came in and started dropping alcohol. Shortly after came RDO train and started loading it in itself. After a while, brewery train left empty back to brewery track and RDO train loaded EVERYTHING from the storage and went to export that alcohol.

And i have no idea what went wrong

As soon as a train withdraws something from the cargo train hub, the "Cornoe Importation DO" dispatches a train to the border to refill the warehouse or open storage. For example, if a train takes 12t of alcohol from a full warehouse's hub, the DO sends a train to the border to purchase 12t of alcohol (but the trigger to reload the warehouse is set to 10%!).

This doesn't happen when a truck or helicopter takes something from the warehouses/open storages; it only happens when it's a train.

I've attempted to resolve the issue by deleting the factory connection to the helipad and by reducing the number of connected warehouses or open storage to the train cargo station, but these actions have not resolved the issue.

I'm lost. Is it a bug, or is it supposed to work this way?

It is a bug and thank you for testing it. It happened to me as well with train-train mechanics (though the other way around; train started bringing something but less then the treshold and exporting RDO simply emptied the warehouse right afterwards without the treshold getting even near to those 90% set to export).

Please post this into bug section with results you have observed (aka problems being only train-to-train interactions).
