How does Hooded Horse keep coming out with bangers?

They went from a Publisher I never knew about to me buying almost every game they publish. I have yet to run into a bad/terrible title published by them.

Just a slight correction: they don't "come out with" bangers. They look for promising smaller-scale projects, and help publish. I'm glad you're enjoying the game though, and happy that HH have helped bring you to it – this is the heart of their contribution.

I don't know where the Horse with the Hood came from, but I am glad they are bringing exposure to games I would've never took a second glance at :')

There's an interview with the CEO floating on the internet. He basically was a gamer before starting the company with his wife, has always been into complex games and was even a modder for mount & blade for a bit. Not sure if it's still the same, but at the time of interview he shared how his company is different than most publishers as HH doesn't take all the money to recuop the marketing, where as most publishers will take 100% revenue until they get paid back from their marketing spend (which can take years), and is one of the causes for vaporware. HH is doing something great by giving indie devs breathing room to make the best games they can.

Although, I think they messed up localization lately, so I've heard.

Yah, I already had WRSR and I forget which other now, because I bought the first and I expect only publisher bundle I'll ever buy. I'm pretty much set for life. I think they looked at Paradox's trajectory and said "yeah, no, hey, if you're not going to do it right, how about we have a go?"
