Precision terrain levelling?
Is there any way to, say, plot out clear, exact rectangular regions that you want levelled... or is the only way to "smush" the terrain level using the circular brush, or holding down a button while you hover a building/road?

I just discovered the grid-snapping tool for constructions, but it'd be nice to have something similarly precise tools for landscaping.

iirc you can 'draw' a square/rectangle with roads around the area you wish to level, as the terrain tool does not affect roads they stay at original height, the terrain in the centre can then be levelled to your needs.
apologises if this is wrong, haven't played for a while

Ah yes, sounds like a good trick. I guess you can start with four equal-height corners for the roads, level the roads using the right mouse button, then as you say, level the area between, presumably with the height-from-center tool... something like that.

Yes, would be nice to have smaller terrain level brush, like this in editor.
