What are some good maps from workshop for a realistic play through? Thank you.

Hey, there! I really enjoyed Tannheim, New Horizons and Taiga, by Moasl. Those are all realistic and balanced fictional maps. Other than that, there's a few maps generated from real-life data. I'm personally looking forward to playing Brasília.

I think the vanilla ( original one ) where you start a new campaign is fantastic and realistic.
you can use both trains and ships ect.
You can turn off the campaign tutorial missions by pressing ESC and selecting scripts and then turn off script. After that you can play as you like.
Another one that look really good is i think its map 2 where there is a costal line and allot of rivers and kind of steep terrain and small citys and church.. it look great but difficult.

What I like to do is create a random map, and then customize it to suit my play through. I will create pre-game objectives and rules for myself and then adjust the random map . So remove a lot of the oil and put it in concentrated areas for example. add or remove elevations, tweak the water ways.

I am sure we all agree - the replay ability of this game is off the charts!
