Help, my Tunnel Boring Machine wont work. :(
I just bought a Tunnel Boring Machine because i saw that building a Metro is extremely time consuming, even with the EDK300.
But the Tunnel Boring Machine just wont leave my RCO.
Instead my 2 EDK300s move either to the Tunnels to continue building and Boring them, or to build other Tracks.
My EDK300s have zero Problems with moving to Tunnels and other Constructions, but my Tunnel Boring Machine wont even leave the RCO.

Did i miss something? Does it need something i may have forgot?
I have all necessary Materials and the Workforce in my RCO. Also all is connected and all necessary Tracks to move to the under Construction Metro are even electrified Concrete Tracks.
My Boring Machine also has Fuel and is already 1 Year old without ever leaving the RCO.
The Display Info of said Boring Machine doesnt state any Problems. Its all fine and dandy and the Condition of the Vehicle is totally fine.

It just wont leave the RCO and i dont know why. :(

Just try to send one of the EDK´s to a depot and return.
Maybe the working order for the boring machine got stuck somehow.

Dunno if that helps. Just an idea.

I dont know what the issues but you can try save and restart the game, and Most RCO train dont need electric rail.
If you have some issues at other place again try restart the game,it works on most game.

I think there is one big difference between normal rail construction vehicles (EDK) and the tunel boring machine. The tunel boring machine can not turn back at junctions! So you need direct route (only forward direction) from construction office to the tunel. If you don't have it, the tunnel boring machine can't go.

Weird. Maybe you could force it by relocating the EDKs so the RCO has no other choice.

The normal sequence is as follows:

- Track Layer shows up with lots of bricks to prepare the tunnel.

- Tunnel Boring machine shows up and drill the tunnel.

- Track Layer shows up second time with track elements to lay the track.

Dunno about the electric stuff.
But that's not important atm.

So my question is:
What does it show when you click on the construction?

If it shows bricks than the tunnel is not fully prepared yet and the EDK need another run.
If it shows working days left over only than the tunnel is ready for the boring machine.

Hold on,are you tunnel already bean done digging process?
Then The Tunnel boring is a Drill machine it only can work on early state digging process.
Then the rail con machine will build the rest tunnel wall.

it just showed working days, and yet still the EDKs showed up instead of the Boring Machine.

But something strange happend.

I already accepted my fate and just bought a third EDK300 that then would continue building my Normal Tracks, and i kid you not, the moment i bought that EDK and it left my RCO to build the Tracks, the freaking Boring Machine followed and went into the Metro to build the Tunnel and all my other EDKs just continued building Tracks "in the Overworld".

I have no Idea why, i did absolutely nothing except for buying a new EDK.

Nonetheless, i thank you all for the Help. :)

This fixed my identical problem too.
