Why Can't You Move Harvesters on Flatbeds/Open Carts?

I have a very remote and big farm kilometers away from the repair station. I used my train's open carts for the tractors and covered hull trucks. But the train refused to take the harvesters. And when i checked, harvester could only be transported via helicopters or massive ships.

I'm at 1969, will there be a flatbed/open cart that can make them moveable? I'm alright with trucks too, i can just connect it to a road and make a convoy.

Also, At this rate of possibilities of moving the harvester being so limited. I can literally build another repair station next to the farm and get workers to the station instead of moving the vehicles around to be honest. That would be immensely more effective. Even for tractors and trucks there too.

Most harvesters are too wide for trucks or trains, it doesn't make a lot of sense when it comes to harvesters that can detach the actual harvesting blades but that is how it is right now.

You can use the Mi-10 to airlift harvesters starting in 1964, or you can wait until 1974 for the T813 6x6. Nothing else besides ships have the deck width to move harvesters.

Note that all you need for helicopter transport is a small space for vehicles and an attached helicopter cargo pad. Harvesters can be reassigned into farm buildings after landing. Ships are similar, but with a cargo harbor instead of a helipad (the container harbor is not required for this).

Hmm. Well my equipment have been running for 9 years then i got em to the repair station. So if we think the new Combine from East Germany can handle few years, i can carry them with the 813 i guess.
