transporting a track construction set

Hello comrades!

A question about transporting a track construction set from one location to another? I tried using a truck as it is done from the border, but the truck does not load the set at the construction office. Later, I transferred the set to the locomotive shed, and a message appeared that the building was not suitable for a given line. Is the only way to transport a track construction set by transporting it on the tracks?

yes. the one you transport by truck is "taken appart" and once it is constructed it stays that way.
So only via train track

You can use ships to carry track builders to anywhere with water access, but you will still need a disassembled trackbuilder to make the connection between the RCO and the space for vehicles.

its been a while since i played.. But basicly you want to buy the smallest track builder.
It have a special named dissasembled xxxx ( mcdu or something i cant remember )
Once you buy it at the border buidling then buy one fladbed truck in the "truck depot".
click the truck and configure it to go to the border and pickup the train track builder and unload it at your train construction office.
Once that is done the train will start to construct your railroad track.

I highly recommend that the very first train track you build is the one directly to the border, so that you can buy a larger railroad construction machine 2-4 years later.

( the railroad construction office need materials and people.. The more people the faster it will build. )

ps. in case you want to invest in trams then you need one electrical railroad track to the border and to the tram track... it is best to build this in start of the game instead of upgrading it later on since you properbly will have other trains on the line when the time come ;-) ( the tram require electricty to drive from the border to the tram depot )

Dude! I don't think you understood what I'm asking... I'll explain it again - transport from the construction office to another construction office at the other end of the map without building tracks between the construction offices.... a beautiful explanation, but rather for a tutorial... :)
