How do I get concrete???
I can import dry cement, but not wet concrete. The concrete plant appears to be the way to convert dry cement into wet concrete.

But the concrete plant requires concrete to make.

... which you can't get without a plant to convert cement into concrete.

What?

i think its a "bug" but it is working and you can buy it at the border though you cannot see it on the list.

Just tell your construction office that it should pickup concrete at the border and your concrete trucks will do so. Concrete is "invisible" frrom the list of avaliable things you can buy there.. I will report it as a bug, i notised it my self yesterday.

Sweet, I'll try that. I was setting up initial staged supplies and didn't realize/think the CO would fetch stuff from the border, but I'm new to this.

- Build a free construction office,
- Equip it with mixers,
- Dedicate the customs as the source building for concrete.

Same goes for asphalt.

Yep, that worked.

What's confusing is asphalt can be bought / loaded but you can't really dump it anywhere early on. Concrete is totally blocked off which makes it confusing.

I didn´t know that.

Hm... on first thought I went like that is a situation worth to ignore.
But on second thought maybe it is something to make Peter aware of because it might confuse new players.

Or maybe there is a particullar reason for asphalt to be able to be transported.
But I couldn´t think of one.

Me personally I always do as follows:

I build my first little town/village with everything from customs.
As soon as I have some workers to keep asphalt and concrete factory staffed I send my mixers and dumpers to these facillities.
And than little by little I grow the village and have next thing self produced.
Gravel and boards are mostly the next ones.

There are many other ways to succeed.

Success Comrade.

You get both Concrete and Asphalt at the border. When you assign the border as a source for concrete and asphalt you have no problem with that and if the construction office has a dumper and a concrete mixer you are fine.
Concrete and Asphalt is resources you must buy or make yourself when needed and it cannot be stored or exported. The prices listet at the border are the prices you get for your exports. That is why you do not see concrete and asphalt listed.

Prices at custom house are only for product you can sell. Concrete are not product to selling.

Ale prices all available in economy menu.
