Last time on 6th Dec. It will not happen.
This is not true.
At the road map it is stated as "maybe" in form of a DLC.
https://www.sovietrepublic.net/roadmap
But it´s true, this topic is often requested and often discussed.
I would buy it. The map is bis enough to have some battles.
Would be great to have a few outposts with offroad going vehicles and choppers to patrol along the border. And if any situation may get heated a bit: I´m in.
At one of my older saves I built a barrack.
From there a few vehicles started patrolling the area.
The millitary stuff I even would like more than the earthquakes.
As a Cold War sim, I do think it could be implemented, but I would like even more to have a more dynamic diplomacy. Embargoes would come first. For those who doesn't like it, just turn it off. We do have secret police, military (without combat, just as something that affects diplomacy) would be just a step further to put pressure into your economy resources and manpower.
Agree that it doesn't need combat.
Exactly. And it would make it more realistic when related to the Cold War dynamic.
Once the millitary job is done Hospitals can take care of the casualties and some vehicles could move out there to collect the destroyed vehicles for repair or scrap yard.
No, not in that generalization.
I don't want soldiers in the game, not even as DLC. Maybe much later, when the developer capacities are not needed for more urgent things.
The last person who suggested implementing military was called Heil dem Führer or something like that. It's not funny, and there should be no room for such ideas here, not even nearby.
Of course, it's difficult to keep politics out of a game in the Soviet environment, but I do see limits that need to be kept.
I would not bet on that..
Kidding aside, I get your point.
I like diplomacy and military touches on this point, if it's not inseparably related.
But this game has no diplomacy at all. It's also not the game for weapons IMHO.
this is a thread about millitary. OP wants to share suggestions and ideas.
Any post which is going to be like "We don´t want army" or anything like that will be deleted without further comment.
