Traffic Jam but the vehicle has been replaced

Title says it all. Replaced a vehicle by pressing on a vehicle depot while the vehicle was running its line....

And now i've had 6 months of traffic jam notices but the vehicle in question doesn't exist.... and it also hasn't caused any issues on the map either (that i know of).

So my question is, how can i get rid of this god forsaken notification telling me of a traffic jam that isn't real?

The only things I can think of to fix your save would be to reload to a point before it became bugged (before the vehicle was replaced) or the nuclear option: delete the vehicle bin file in your save, replace it with the vehicle bin file of a save of a fresh start, then turn off realistic mode and buy all the vehicles you had. You can use cheats to give you the money needed to buy all of these.

You might also try deleting the road that the "Traffic Jam" occurs at to try in clear it, but that may not work.

a guess.. in the left side of the screen, try to look though the long list of vehicles and see if you can find the vehicle that is the problem in your game.. Example in my game i see a white oil/fuel truck that again and again say something about traffic jam but i have sold all vehicles of that type.. I kind of think it might be a standard image that descript a trafiic jam near one of my train stations where the train block the road and then trucks pile up for a short period of time and then fix it self when the train drive away.

My advice check if trains block roads when they are at a station or factory and if that might can be the reason for the warning you get.. ( when the message come pause the game and go for a hunt ) ;-)

Hello comrades, I had similar problem.
I replaced a Roller from my Construction Office and the old one disappeared (even from Vehicle list). The game started to bombard me a Traffic Jam Error each few days. I was not able to localize that machine, 'Eye button' in the warning message was not helping at all.
I found that roller in All Related Vehicles in my Construction Office, where I was able to sell that vehicle..
