Developers- can you please add a music play to the game ?
Please, my ears are practically bleeding from hearing the same soundtrack on repeat with no way to skip it. An in-game music player would be greatly appreciated! THANKS :)

Just to expand my general knowledge, is there any game with this option (music player)?

None I think :) Never play game with that, soundtrack of game is meant to play in loop.

If anybody wants different music he should play own music on pc:)

Soviet has great soundtrack, btw is much bigger with more songs than it was a few months ago:D so you love it or hate it:)

Maybe Hearts of Iron and Europa Universalis.
There is literally a playlist you can customize, disable soundtrack you don't like etc.

There are some actually. F.e. you could play your own MP3 files in GTA 4 on a designated radio station. Also you can play music from your Spotify account in Forza Horizon.

But I don't think that a simple music player is worth the work. Just disable the ingame music and use your own music player in the background.

Lots of games do music players. Many paradox games do for example, there is a music box with all tracks, and you can throw your tracks in as well...

Games that are a little more on simulation side, like My summer car or Derail Valley to name a few have physical in game media and players that you interact with after throwing your own music and labels. Can even hook up internet radio stations as well.

i really enjoyed the music for about the first hour, then i thought i was going crazy.
I did find some good "soviet" themed playlists on youtube that i listened to for a while, and go to sound settings and turn music off..

I still like it somehow. But I'm also often play without sound and listen to a podcast.

Replace. An effective way is to replace it with your favorites. 🎵

Even back in the 90s Command & Conquer had an option to enable or disable select music tracks and in-game you could skip a track or play/pause. Even if they don't give us the ability to play our own music (as many have said, if you're gonna do that just mute music and use your own player) it would be nice to be able to better shuffle the tracks, skip, or disable certain tracks if there are particular ones we aren't as much a fan of. Not a priority request but I certainly wouldn't mind this feature.

But this wasjust a necessity as running a music player in the background was a bad idea. Multitasking wasn't a real option in these days.

I already said, that play your music on the music player of your choice in the backgroud and that's it. But I see a funny gameplay feature here when implementing the player in a nice soviet era style. Or even have additional functions when building the radio tower ...

Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, Victoria, Transport Fever, Transport Tycoon (Deluxe), virtually every strategy game where music plays of importance.
Oh. Railroad Tycoon II didn't have it.

In the meantime I can only encourage you to disable the ingame music and open up your favourite music platform, and go looking for some Soviet music.

If you've got Spotify, I can recommend this list I've been using recently : https://open.spotify.com/playlist/0Jsob1FHq38dsf64XDuZM9?si=0d7e9c2ae7e24fba
