Tower Crane B2
What equipment do in need to transport the B2 crane?
I have tried some of the largest truck and trailers i have, weight capacity exceeds the weight of the crane.
I'm aware of the transport process and can transport the A tower cranes without issue.
Tucks just sit in the customs office when it comes to the B crane.
What am i missing?
Is it a Bug?

Tower cranes and harvesters are the most notable examples that it is not only the weight of the transported equipment that matters, but also the dimensions. The B2 is large and only long trucks can carry it.

When you bought the crane click on it and you will see a question mark somewhere at the top of the menue.
There you can check which vehicles are capable to carry it.

Maybe this video will help.

The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

Weight doesn't matter at all when it comes to deciding whether a vehicle can be carried by another vehicle. Only deck space matters.

This is why a V3S truck with a 4.1 ton capacity can carry a 4.9 ton KT50 bulldozer.

Here is an even more blatant example with a GZ-53 with a 4 ton capacity carrying a 40+ ton modded container:

The developers really need to get rid of the tonnage amount after the
"Can load vehicles on flatbed" stat.

Entirely possible I'm missing something, but is the information about which vehicle can carry which vehicle available *before* purchasing?

If you have whatever you intend to carry sitting in a space for vehicles (or in a depot/CO if a mechanism) then you can see what can carry it; otherwise you will have to buy a vehicle to see what it can carry.

You have to own a copy of the vehicle first, however you can also look at your flatbed vehicles and see what they can load so, for example, if you owned a Mark E flatbed you would be able to see that it can load T3 trams or B2 tower cranes (if those are currently available to you).
