Aluminium recycling

I have yet to see a single gram of aluminium ever to get separated from waste.

Where should aluminium waste come from, since you can't seem to scrap planes and helicopters as far as i know of ?

Afaik the plane industry has aluminum scrap in it's bin.
If you import haz waste it contains alu scrap.
And tourists do a bit.
Eastern more than western.
I assume that the aluminum Faktory have some alu scrap in their bin as well.

I haven't scraped planes yet.
But I guess that we are able to do so.

I can confirm that aluminium industry and airplane factory don't produce aluminium scrap.
I haven't tested the scrapping, it may come from scrapping planes and helicopters.

From hazardous waste, import it from the border, separate it and than recycle aluminum

Just did that but not an ounce of aluminium.

Maybe there is a not so obvious trigger condition needed ?

Imported hazardous waste is RANDOM for each of your customs. It is consistent per your game, but every single one of your custom houses can (and probably will) have different consist of what you buy under "hazardous waste". And the more aluminum/scrap metal you have in, the less value it brings to the table.

So try a different customs if you´d like? :D
