How to load fertilizer?

I've build a compost plant and produce some fertilizer. I tried to transport it to the farm, but loading it to wast vehicles takes ages! What is the faster way to transport fertilizer?

I haven't used the plants to make fertiliser but you will want a truck meant for large bins (skips) and it will likely be easier if you setup a transfer for large containers that is connected to the plant and set to accept fertiliser as transferring to and from there is much faster.

You have to look what for containers are in use by the output. If there are huge ones, its normaly that smal Wastetrucks need more time. This Game try to be as real as it is possible to be in a game. So all you have to do, is think in the way that would be logical in real life. That's actually true for almost all things here. ;)

Thanks! I'v tried truck with small container, but it works too slow. A truck with large container works significantly faster.

in my game i think i used the water truck/fuel truck to deliver fluid fertilizer from the customs border shop to the farm. It worked perfectly. I build a small externa ltank for the farm so it could hold enough for an entire season.
I did not yet try the fertilizer sacks or produce my own.

I don't get why you would want the composting plant when you can just convert biological waste into fertilizer for free in a dump.

Best set up I have found is a dump set up to receive biological waste. Over time this waste turns into fertiliser. You need to move the fertiliser out to make sure the dump continues to receive bio waste. You can use the big waste trucks attached to DO to move this around

I confirm this is working fine for me. But I prefer to put a direct line of trucks, instead of DO, DO tends to send trucks too late, and this is blocking the dump during that time. I set my direct line with "wait until loading 50%", to minimize the truck movement. The truck will sit gently and constantly load, and preventing the error message "the dump cannot receive biological waste"

Yep, DO's are not needed for everything.

Thanks for the replies! I'll try to setup dump for biological waste. It seems composting plant doesn't work properly. It generates "other waste" which I have to collect into another dump, because it doesn't go to the containers yard.

I connect the dump to a vehicle loading station and am able to unload biowaste and load fertiliser through it regardless of which is showing in the dump at the time
