Potable Water/Closed Loop Water Treatment:
I have a map that has little water resource so no suitable place to dump sewage: treated or not.
I ran a test and found that no matter what you ever do, you cannot get sewage to be treated beyond 85% purity even if you try to run in through other sewage plants in series.
I think it would be nice to have the ability to clean to a point where it is potable again even if it takes running the sewage through multiple plants.

You can dig up small hole with water in the ground and dump sewage there.

Yes... I know. Except that is not an easy solution on my map. My map is extreme high elevation. There are only two places on whole map with even potential to access water. Otherwise, way too deep to access.
There are mods to just dump it on dry land which is what I will most likely do for now. However, I like realism, not just options.
I guess you can use treated sewage in your chemical plants. That may be the best plan with what is available.
However, would be nice to have more alternatives.

There are industries that accept 85% water as viable source - route it to these industries.
Cement is one out of the top of my head.

Unused water is water, used water is sewage. You can't use sewage in an industry that needs water. The solution is to use a dump anywhere mod as the idea that water only exists at "sea level" is insane and would make a lot of maps completely unviable.

No Doubt, but that is half the challenge on a map like mine though. There are only two small places where a helicopter can get water. I was really hiping to be able to purify sewage and reuse it but oh well.
From my sewage treatment, I'll just edit in an outflow on the off-map side of the mountains so I still have to run the pipe. But, I won't have to see it spewing. LOL... win/win.

Water at elevation, mountain lakes and rivers would be a nice addition to the game.
Something for the next version of the game maybe?

There is a water texture you can place with cheats, which with the land discharge option provides an aesthetic way to get rid of sewage without long pipes or truck conveys to low land shores.

I am not sure if I would consider it balanced though. In real life there would be streams you could dump into, but in the game there is no water flow to carry pollution downstream and plateaus are rather rare on maps.
