there are some buildings that dont need recourses to build(construction office, some storages, fuel station, distribution office, dirt road and maybe a few more I forgot). start with those.

for road connection, start with dirt road to the customs. you can upgrade it to IF you have acces to the needed goods from another source(storage with gravel, your own asphalt plant, or acces to another customs office)

also, if you only just started with the game, you might want to consider some easier settings to start out with. This game has a quite ruthless learning curve

10+
perfectly true.
Try the first 100 hours with very easy options (lots of money, auto build, etc.) or you will get frustrated

Hello Comrade,

Mudkest is right. Dunno what's best for you. Some people like videos, some people prefer try and error.
But I can assure you that once you get the basics you gonna love it.
My experience is that there is one thing that you have to come with:

Patience.

For building things you can place a few "free" buildings. Dirt roads won't require any resources as well.

Place a free Construction Office near the custome building, connect it with a dirt road, and choose the custome building as a source for everything. Once you have all relevant vehicles you are good to go. You can group Construction offices together.
But I don't want to go into to much detail because otherwise my answer will be veeery long.

Good luck with finding out things.
If you struggle just ask here.
Don't forget to use the search function.

Success Comrade.

As stated, build mud roads first. They have no cost and require no resources or vehicles to build. You may upgrade them when ready. Look for the "free" buildings. The Construction Office (free) and Distribution Office (free) are a couple that come to mind which you will need to begin your city build. Like the mud roads, they cost no resources, money or vehicles to build. However, you receive a limited number of each of these "free" buildings but enough to get started.

Take your time and plan carefully. This is not a quick build type of city builder. There are plenty of Youtube vids online to assist.

If you are not getting answers, I would suggest posting a pic in the Game-Help section that shows the issue you are having on discord. https://discord.gg/QKHrhmY

Often it is helpful to attach a screenshot to your post.
Do U know how to do that?

You learn by trying, failing and figuring out why you failed and try over with your new discoveries. I didn't start out putting 100 hours into normal mode, I jumped straight into realistic mode as normal is simply not this games strong suit. Don't get too attached to one save and be ready to start over every time you've learned enough to make your next start even better.

Disclaimer, I bought this game in 2019 or so and played it for about 5 hours because while I liked the setting the realistic mode wasn't a thing yet and the game just felt like a chunky and slightly awkward city builder. I only came back to the game last year when I saw one of my friends struggle in realistic mode and got intrigued to try that out for myself, and now every other city builder is just meh. 😅
