How to make road connection for demolition?

Hello,

I'm struggling with road connection for demolishing an underground power connection. I've placed a road at the beginning of the power cables I want to remove. But the game still tells me that there's no road connection and that the cables are not in range of a demolition office. How to make the road connection working?

the office only gets to those lines by driving to a switch power station or some other building, not sure if a helicopter demolition office can do that but i would imagine they are able to send someone to middle of nowhere to cut down some power poles or so

Ouch... will try it with helicopter, thank you. It's a bit irrealistic if they really only can demolish as long as the connection is on a power switch, etc. If a street is crossing, they should be able to demolish...

Did the helicopter work in getting it removed? I unfortunately demolished a heating plant and endpoints before the pipes were finished getting removed, now they're entirely stuck and very ugly.

Necroposting aside, I don't think helicopters will work. Better option is to place a hating pump or something nearby, connect that with a new pipe to the old heating pipe, suspend construction of both the new pipe and the heating pump, and then the demolition office will have a road connection to the pipe.

After the demolition is finished, you can just cancel construction for both the new pipe and the heating pump and voilà, no more ugly pipe.

The helicopter works to remove things that you can't reach with road vehicles anymore fyi.

sometimes it can happen you cannot delete something since the game cannot find a road connection even though there is one. Its a bug that can happen sometimes.
you can maybe use the helicopter and a demolition building together by placing the helicopter landing pad nearby so the building light up and then buy ah elicopter.

OR
you can press ESC and go into game settings and then turn off Demoltion and waste and then delete and remove everything instant via the bulldozer delete button.
After that turn on the features again.
I if you use this method and report a bug to the devs, then you need to inform them you turned featurs on/(off i think it have something to do with trouble shooting and how it can effect the game.. ) But doont worry your game will work as normal after a little time
