Export it, or disperse it equally to a bunch of small dumps and let it decay away.

Like Silent_Shadow said.
Here is an example.

I made a Video about it.
It's in German though.
You want to jump to Min:33:10 to observe what's going to happen with the ash.

Dump it into a waste depot with a train connection and export it to the border. If you make that one of the automatic tasks of a rail distribution office you will never have to check on it again. And the cost of it is pretty low.

Since a rail road to the border solves a lot of things such as no road queue's anymore, always timely delivery and never quantity problems ever again you probably should go through the trouble building a rail connection to the border anyway.

Unless you built along a river leading to a border....rivers are free infrastructure with massive capacity.

In one of my plays i used to dump it into big depots to disperse ( by wind i guess ) but my incinerators filled multiple depots to the brim and caused traffic jams in the whole waste chain as when full they shut down everything -even the whole economy - as waste is no longer collected. I rated that too troublesome to pursue further.

The decay rate of ash doesn't scale (or didn't anyway; the developers changed it in the update an hour or so ago) with the amount of ash in a dump, so the only way to increase the decay rate was by having more dumps and ensuring they always had some ash in them.

Also from the latest update (.19):

I think that means ash decays faster now, but I don't really know.

It is counter-intuitive, but have you fed it back at the incinerator?

Decay rate is 0.5t per day?

dosnt get less as the ash dosnt burn it only clockes up you incinerator wich cant prozess other waste it can reduce in volume.

depending on the volume you get add a dump and let it sit there, wich works great for the start with not too much waste, for bigger citys the dump with rail or a transfer and multiple dumps might be needed.
dont know exact decay rate but barly have 10t in the medium dump with a 2k city and a decent selection of industry running on minimum workers just to get the materials needed.
guess i can easy double population and send more workers to the factorys from how much waste is moving around.
