How does one repair trains?

I know there's a vehicle repair yard, which I'm making use of as I speak, but is there a way to repair trains as well which are in need of service? Am I simply just missing something or is this not yet possible?

Try the new parts of the in-game tutorial. Repair of trains, ships and planes is shown there.

You need to build a repair yard close to the train depot.

The repair facility has a radius around it that changes the colors of buildings that are inside it. Basically any building that's inside the radius gets its vehicles repaired when needed.

Also, if you buy a truck for the repair yard, it will drive to buildings with vehicles in need of repair within its working range (which can be set, just like for technical services).

A Depo in wich I park trains to repair with a repair shop does not seem to work. Do you need an End-Station?
And how are trains repaired automaticaly?
