Need help with Power Transformer
My Power Transformer gives me the error, "Building is without power supply."

I have high voltage power lines running directly from the Foreign Power Connection to the Power Transformer. (I had a switch in the line before but I took it out troubleshooting)

I have importing turned on in the power connection.

The Power Transformer reports no power though.

What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.

note that there is one that has an input and an output place, of the cables, that is, yes or if there is a connection order, I hope you understand

That was one of the troubleshooting steps I took. There is one large arrow for connecting the high voltage and many small ones for medium voltage.

I have the lines snapped into the large connection

Are you sure all the high voltage masts have connected lines ? It is easy to place a mast that does not connect it's power lines to it's neighbor mast because the angle is too sharp and such annoying things.

Or if you used an underground cable, is it not severed or unconnected anywhere ?

You say you switched the import button on, but did you set an amount to import ? And do you have the money to pay for it ? :-))

Those are the obvious things.

And lastly, the switch in between, this was not by coincidence the new one direction ( orange ) priority switch ? That one can only transfer power from the input side to the output side and you need to enable it's connections setting a priority to them.

@Beast of War

I've rebuilt the entire line twice. I'm pretty sure it's connected. Above ground type.

Yes, I've turned it up several steps and I do have the money.

The switch was the old kind. Which begs the question, this is an older save (a few months), maybe it was updated since then.

I'm currently trying demolishing the Power Transformer and rebuilding it.

UPDATE: Demolishing and rebuilding didn't do it.

do you have wattage set higher then 0 for import?

only true for the priority switches, not for transformer. (you can import MV lines from border, then connect HV too the transformer and anything connected to the HV cable will be powered)

Does the transformer have a voltage reading? It should have one around 110 kV.
The transformer should only have a power reading if it has loads connected to it that are actively consuming power.

Is there anything that actually wants to draw power further down the line? Do the power lines actually show green/yellow/red when looked at in the correct overlay?

I think this is a bug as the foreign power connection should have voltage with power selected to import over 0 MW. The only other possible explanation is that you are overloading the foreign power connection with too much loading.

OP I would use cheats to destroy and rebuild the foreign power connection. That should clear the bug, but I would also send a save to the developers for them to troubleshoot the cause.

@Mudkest
Yes, i've tried turning the import all the way up.

@Silent_Shadow
It's only a few buildings that connect to the power so I don't think I'm overloading it.

I'm starting a brand new map. If the problem persists I will let you know.

I started a brand new map and the problem continues. What am I doing wrong? Screenshot below:

I don't see a clear reason in the previous screenshot, but you just didn't build electrical lines on this one.

It looks okay to me OP. The foreign power connection has voltage in your screenshot, which means that it has power available.
Yeah you need to build the actual powerlines before complaining about there being no power.
