Way to make custom map without fertile soil?

I'm just curious is there a way to make map without fertile soil or just very small patches of land available to farm?

Fertility is not implemented. You could try to cover all map with rocks, but not sure if is it hard to do.

Currently there's no way to enforce this. What could be done is to: i) paint the ground as rocks so it won't be considered as farmable by the player as a way to roleplay; ii)make the ground very unneven, but that would affect other buildings too.

Possible. Make entire map based on stone(quarried stone resource). there you have a map without fertile land.

It would be nice to have an additional terrain type that is like soil but infertile. Sand perhaps?
We could even quarry it to make glass....

Hmm so we are getting fertilizers with update, maybe even more farming updates like soil fertility and such? This game can get even better.
