- train DO: load anything 100%
- train depo
This locomotive will pick up the wagons from the DO. There is no way to select specific wagons.
Edit: I think I just realised what you meant. Do you want to move a locomotive AND wagons out of the rail DO? You can pause the game, select the locomotive you want to get rid of and order it "home" in a new place (depot or another rail DO). Next, order this locomotive to pick up the railway cars from its old home, and deliver them to where you want them. Lastly, cancel the locomotive's "return to depot" order and unpause. That way, it should leave with its wagons and not make an empty run first.
This does not always work.... i send my train to pick up nothing and return trip in a line.. when i go to add the train to the line i created to pick up wagons it says this train in not appropriat... i tried all the trains and always get same andswer... this is a huge pisser they need to fix this!~
- You cannot assemble trains across factory connections (you can load vehicles onto flatbeds across factory connections though).
- Locomotives may not load any wagons if there are no other destinations that can accept the wagons or whatever they are hauling.
- Locomotives will also only load wagons up to the length of the building, which may be too big for some trains to even spawn (the EDK 300 for example, can not be bought at the medium customs house because it is too long).
There may be other reasons too.FYI, I ran into a bug doing this. Sometimes the loco would not pickup wagons. I think it might be related to having wagons with cargo on them but restarting the game fixed it.
I had the exact same issue, I knew ho to extract waggons from RTaild DO's abut for some weired reason this time the loco would not pick up any waggon at all this drove me near mad.
restarted the game and everything went they way it should be.
I restarted the game and it didn't help.
