Tourists not getting on the bus

I have a mountain hotel for my lovely soviet tourists. It is a rather long drive, but the buses are on their route to the border to pick them and up deliver to the hotel. There are tourists at the border, but none of them get on the buses. Any suggestions?

Well not really a suggestion.
I just can tell how I deal with tourists.
I pick them up by train and drop em of at a station where is a hotel in walking distance.
That should work with buses as well.

And for the rest I can only guess. Is your hotel staffed? Did you check the box for tourists in the line?

If the hotel is unstaffed, the tourists simply wont go?

nop.

His problem is probably hotel is not in reach to bus station. make sure the delivered bus station is in reach to hotel.

Without a screenshot it´s hard to guess.

As far as I understood and experimented, tourists work like workers : they dont go if the final destination has no room / workplace for them.
If your hotel is in transport range and your tourists dont get on the bus, it might be because hotel il not staffed, or without electricity, of already full.

I personally did not check on the current versions, but I saw in the discussion on the forum that tourists get on the bus if you set the hotel itself as a bus stop, not a separate bus stop building.

I just checked it.
The bus need to go from the border to the hotel directly.
With trains they pop of the station and walk to the hotel.
Guess with ships and planes will be the same.

... I might need to correct this statement: tourist will walk from a bus stop to the hotel (at least in my games)

as discussed above, check the border station, that tourist are in deed allowed onto the bus, that overall travel time is within 5h, that walking distance is within reach (<400m), that hotel destination is stuffed & electrified & heated & equipped with all consumables and has still capacity for new tourist ... otherwise, as irl, the game "tells" the toursist at the border : "don´t bother"

Maybe it´s the mod then.
I just checked with a bus. They didn´t get off the bus at the bus stop next to the hotel, but with the line to the hotel they embarked the bus.
I will double check. Maybe it´s the mod.

Btw tourist travel time is longer afaik... I was reading something like this a while ago.

yep, I had them travelled for up to 10 hours

Is the bus definitely set to load at the border? I think it default to unload when you add it to the schedule.

What attractions do you have at the Mountain Hotel (apart from the view) , also passengers can only tolerate so long on the bus before they simply vanish.
