And there's no storage listed, but when the ship arrives, a little bit of stuff will be unloaded. Just using the stock small cargo harbor. Some of the ships are modded, some stock.

Everything's powered.
It works sometimes with some goods, sometimes doesn't work with the same goods, no rhyme or reason that I've discovered.
Has anyone else noticed the same behavior with a bit of storage in the harbor? I'll have a ship docked, and if I click a new item to load that's been there previously, it'll suddenly add 2.5 tons or so even w/o a forklift nearby, then forklifts start bringing more.
I mean thats an option too. But they are useful for complex facilities and that added realism.
I wouldn't call it a pro tip, just a min maxer preference.
You have one forklift warehouse handling all this or two? It does sound a bit buggy, could you post some screenshots of you orders, setup and general layout?
For example, I've set 2 trucks for wood for my chemical facilities, 2 per facility. They are set to "wait until unloaded", since wood is used the least and the delivery spots are not used otherwise.
Would be lovely if it would start to load when there's capacity, but at least this way it doesn't lock up my forklifts.
