But you can. You just need to connect to two different border connectors. You set one to import and the other one to export. Everything works automatically, exporting the excess and importing only when it's needed.

I have two lines connected as export (currently exporting on both) and one line (bottom one) connected as import. I have three connectors at one border crossing, but I imagine it would also work when you only have one per crossing - you just have to run longer lines.

Nice one, thanks. I was thinking if this might work, but was afraid I would be importing electricity to export it again at a loss. But if it works that is a great work around

I was in doubt about the buy and sell percentages for the automatic balance to work. Should I buy at 10%, for example, if I meet my demand and sell at 80% of capacity, so as not to compromise all my energy production?
