I knew about electronics, but the meat is new to me... someone mentioned it, and I wasn't sure if it was just temporary.
I did hear that they do care about electronics once you add tv and radio stations... could you check on that?
Important, angry without it, but manageable: sports
Good bonus, but not necessary: culture, alcohol
Important if you don't want everyone to die: healthcare
Yes. Alcohol is very much not needed. I almost never use it. I did use it in a test in order to test shopping only but feel free never to have alcohol.
Radio and TV station without electronics sounds like a legit test! I will do this!
I thought people wit radios will be influenced from the outside radio stations. NATO or Soviet Union.
Thanks for the idea!
Well meat is not really needed. If you go to 10:00 in the video you will see that people having everything, people without electronics and people without meat are practically the same. Meatless people have slightly less health and slightly less happiness. I would say less then 5%.
Alcohol is a weird one for me. I thought they live shorter with alcohol but they live as long or maybe even longer. But sports I don't know.
I will do some testing with Sports and Culture.
Thank you, Comrade Sky.
About alcohol, it's okay. I have bars in my towns, and that's okay, as long as there are jobs for everyone.
Only if you have a lot of people out of work will this be a problem.
We must not neglect: food, clothing, access to care (hospital, clinic, etc.) and meat (for health). It is necessary (for happiness) to have access to culture. It is necessary (for happiness and health) to have access to sport.
Alcohol are not necessary. Electronics aren't a problem either, as long as you don't create a radio.
I couldn't agree more.
Nice definition of famine! :)
Did you by any chance check 10:00 timestamp? No meat barely affects them. Health and happiness is barely down. Less then 5% i recon.
But this test was only for few months so might get bad later on.
Regarding the sports and culture and radio station I'm on it! I hope I will have video out in few hours. :)

Lol lots of tests need to be done
when living around a coal generator it fall at 45y and its impossible to play because hospital are full forever
even an industry at proximity made them loose 20y of life
at start i buyed all the people needed and the alcool bar was empty
so i guess some opptional need matter in critical situation as lack of homes and jobs as it can happend as soon the city is so huge than micromanagement become impossible
tought a police magnagement in capitalist game$ is generaly involved at this level
but its well know that not hapend in communist countrys
As I only practice self-construction, I have time to observe and follow the inhabitants in their buildings.
I never tried to deprive them of meat.
On the other hand, in a store whose supply was cut without my realizing it, I had the impression that the absence of meat for a long time had an influence on the state of health. I had a lot of deaths.
By restoring the meat supply, I saw a decrease in mortality.
As said, this is just an impression. It is possible that I am wrong.
