How to earn good money?
Hello!
I wanted to earn some money, as it slowly, but constantly finishes in my game. I built a train line from my coal plant which carries approx. 1000 tonnes of coal to the border, earning like 3,000 R after every run. That's ridiculous! Even a 30,000 would be very little in this case... I tried the same with oil, the train is very short yet (2 cars), but judging by the "cargo value", it is also going to be a non-profitable solution. What's going on? Is only the nuclear stuff worth exporting, as it prices are high?
Any good way to earn money? Is money earned only from export in the early phase of the game?

Thanks!

build Many Oil rigs, and 1 Refinery in the first year, all outputs must be exported to generate 1M per year. It is almost too easy. Start as close as possible from the Border where you export.

To quickly earn a lot of money, check out the "economy" panel with the price of the goods.

You should orient yourself towards:

1. Alcohol factory (very profitable to export even if you import wheat), easy to build and very profitable.
2. A food factory can also export at a high price.
3. Oil well: no workers, you just need a tank and an DO.
With a refinery, it's the jackpot: you export oil, fuel and bitumen. You can use a Workshop mod that allows you to create fluid containers to export oil, fuel AND bitumen on the same freight train.
4. chemicals bring a lot of exports.
5. Textiles and clothing bring a lot of exports and require chemicals.
6. Nuclear power is also very profitable.

At the start of the game, select a site with oil. Build an alcohol factory, a food factory, one (or more) oil wells.
With the money earned, build a textile and clothing factory.

You can supply your stores for your citizens without importing these very expensive products, and you can export the surplus.

From there, expand your refinery to produce fuel oil and bitumen. You will have enough rubles to build your coal-fired power station.
Bauxite is interesting to export.

From there (alcohol, petroleum, fuel, bitumen, fabrics, clothes), you roll on gold: you will have a lot of material to create and develop what you want.
Sorry for my bad english.

Build some motorworks and produce mercury. This is the easiest money and u can produce your own cars. That is the most money u can spare, even if u buy all the needed steel and stuff.

since no one has said it. tourism can be quite profitable. build a frontier town and build hotels at walk distance of the custom. just don't lower the hotel price, having 3 or 4 star rating is good enough to attracts lots of tourists.

of the already said industries Oil and oil refineries are the easiest.

Do not sell crude products like oil, coal or iron. Crude oil at the start till refinery is set up.
Take your workers and process them to fuel, bitumen, steel.
Workers & Resources
For processed goods they pay you a lot of money and while you produce them yourself you don't have to import them.

I dont know how good this is, but here is another strategy.
buy a few busses and then pickup turists at the border and deliver to your hotel in the city. Its quite cheap to setup a cheap hotel and a few other buildings.
13 turists drop +2000rubles for a 14 day 0-1 star experience.. They can even eat/drink at the hotel and shop in different stores ect.
If you scale up things so it become a bit exlusive ( higher star rating ) you can get a higher turist rating and they will be willing to pay more money.
I think turist can be quit good after some time especially if your rating goes up.

I did not really test the above my self but i think its an okay steady income maybe as a supplement to something els.

The strategy i use the most is to build a coal mine and export as much power as possible to two different borders that pay pretty good but require a larger setup and allot of workers to be efficient.

Best advice try to not borrow money in the start of the game if you need to loan money ask for 500.000 for 5 years then you will pay like 600-700 everyday.
Keep in mind no matter what. The thing that pay the best is when you take a simple Resource and manufacture it into something els.. That is where the money is.
And then you need to think big and move trainloads of stuff and sell lots at a time.

Pro tip..: if you can make sure that you trains and trucks carry materials both ways to be as efficient as possible.
Example if x truck drive to the border to sell x product, then ask it to buy x material and put it in x building. The reason you are more efficient, and also materials/products are cheaper to buy near the border than if you auto buy in your city.. Just saying carry something both ways if you can vs driving empty.
