And who would you be to make such statements? Did I miss something, have we elected a person with right to speak for every and each WRSR player now?
And there's nothing bad from suggesting a QoL improvement. For a game that somehow prides itself in getting realistic machinery, there's also nothing bad in getting people and place names realistic in-game. Not that I would rename each and every one of them manually.
You're speaking for all players, again. Are you a medium who can magically touch all players' minds and tell what do they think or what?
But let's put this aside for instance. Have you ever heard of such thing called flavor? Pretty sure you did. And these namesets, they contribute to flavor of the game. The devil is always in petty things, as they say where I'm from, and that's the case here. And if you couldn't care less about flavor, well, that does not automatically mean everyone else does the same.
So from me there is a +1!
May I refer you to one of the most successful games (only this once) in the history of gaming - Minecraft - once modders found the way to modify it they are able to change every aspect of the game and I think it's been that game's number one reason for its popularity - I hope scripting comes soon and brings with it does capabilities,
It might not make sense with you, since I believe you are a Slav, but believe me, for us non-Slavs wanting to role-play Third World socialist Republics, this would be a big QoL improvement for us. I hope the planned scripting support will also be enabled to handle this one.
Anyway. On one of my last safes I gave the towns, or better say areas names according what they were for. The town with the shipyard I called Murmansk, the Oilfield I called Baku,
and so forth.
I personaly don´t realy care for the names given automatically.
I cange them to my gusto anyway.
I rather would like to be able to paint my area.
Or at least merge two areas together.
