How to use curved roads
Hello all,

My partner recently got this game and we can't work out the curved roads. I've seen online that an update in May added a different curved roads system, there seems to be a "guide" that snaps to angles but how to you place a curved road at these angle snaps?

Hope that all makes sense :)

Thank you! <3

Also if someone can explain the difference between the mouse wheel curved road tool & the shift one that would be brilliant :)

The first piece is always straight. Also if it snaps in the middle.
Ones snapped at the end of an existing road it courves. With the mousewheel it changes the radius.

Thank you - So can you snap it to the guide you see using the mouse wheel or do you habe to just click over it but it's still freeform?

With shift U can turn things slower and more precise. Same goes for the radius.
Just try it out and U`ll see.

Little tip, road and rail bridges can curve too.
The curve can only be where the segments join and it can't be very sharp between the segments so you have to build in many tiny segments to do a large curve.

The tip with the mouse wheel was, what I was looking for, now I can make wide swings of Railtracks, much more like in real Life. With the Mouse Wheel, you can easily increase the radius of the track's curve.
