Constructing heating pipes and electric lines

So when I have my construction office build conveyors or roads, everything works fine, but when I try building heating pipes or electric lines, nothing happens. I can't select them either, so I can't even try to assign them to a construction office or see what the problem is. What am I doing wrong?

First, after planing, the line appear in white. U need to click then on the bottom right to start building.
There can be an issue if one line is consisting on few pats. That happens when U intreupted the planing. Best way to avoid this is to plan the line that U have one construction in total.
And last but not least, make sure to have a road or path connected to the site.

Yes, that is what he meant. To avoid fragmenting wire lines and pipe lines you need to plan them first and if you are happy with your plans then commission them to be constructed.
