Problem with my rails (Train stuck in Loading station)
Can someone please help me with this problem? https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2244936141
The Train can go back to the depot but somehow doesnt manage to drive forward to the soviet border. I made a loan in rubels and really need to start exporting because next year the soviet union wants their money back :D
( i already watched some railroad tutorials and according to them i did nothing wrong) :/

I'm not that into trains, but imho if you remove the bi-directional signal in front of your train,he will start.
One thing i've learned is the more signals you got ,the more trouble you get in return.

When you click on the train, you have the option to click on a magnifying glass that will show you where the problem is.

The semaphore on the screenshot look ok to me (but you need a chain semaphore when you enter the junction). The problem is probably elsewhere. If the train can find a path to the destination, it will refuse to exit the station. So, the problem is probably a bad semaphore along the way.

The problem seems to be elsewhere not in the screenshot. Thorough inspection of the whole route is needed. It can be a signal or missing junction or missing piece of track. If you can share your save aomehow somebody could take a look.

This is the End of the Line. On second thought i think i
messed something up here... along the line all the signs point in the same/fitting direction, the camera says the problem is at the end of the crossroad at the beginning. Removed the signs, changed them, removed all the tracks and builded them new. Nothing happened :/ https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2245562524

Mabe the problem really is a missing Chain semaphore...i dont understand how these things work.

Don't trust that magnifying glass tool, its basically useless at the moment. More often than not, it will point to a random location. As mentioned, your problem is probably elsewhere along the track- an unfinished section or a samophore pointing the wrong way, not allowing a full loop to happen.

From what I can tell, your problem could also be from the length of the single track following the junction. If the purple part shorter than your train, it wont be able to "turn around" and switch to the track going the other way.

I would delete this whole junction- you don't need the "X" part, since there's only one line you can unload at anyway. Ill try to diagram what I would do instead:

------ ( <- )-----
. . . . . . . . . (y-fork) ----- ( <-> ) -----one train length min.---- (Customs House)
------( ->> )----

-Train is stuck on station, but it don't mean that problem is near train - it can be elsewhere on the path.
-Look at your signals - I can see that you are close to good solution for WRSR, but you need to be carefull, and chceck signals on one way tracks - some of it might be turned back (f.e. track on which trains should go to the west, one signal is accidentaly pointing south - it mayt cause problem like you shown, this is my most common mistake.
-lack of chain semaphores will cause problem when there's more than one train on certain road, then it can block themselves, I don';t think that it's problem in this case.
-By clicking ctrl + h in one time you can inspect continuity of your tracks - sometimes there are some small holes which you can't see without this tool.
-And don't give up! Even that there's a lot of people complaining about rail in this game, it is the best mean of transportation in most cases, you just have to learn how to use it. When you do, you will be able to design, build and use very complex transportation system, with dozens of trains transporting hundreds thousands tons of material around your republic which is very satysfying :)

You can find your save in \Steam Games\steamapps\common\SovietRepublic\media_soviet\save
You can zip it and share it through a cloud service. Somebody can then take a look what can be wrong.

You are not the first to whom that happened. It is OK to make mistakes as you are human.

This has happened to me more times than I want to talk about. After raging at the game for awhile I find the gap. By now it has become a habit that I start looking for little gaps as soon as a train has problems. Sometimes you can only see them when you turn on the train building tool and notice that one is not connected even when it looks like it is.

How did you guys build your tracks?
