Problems with Agro Farms.
Hi guys, anyone having problems with farms?
Since we got the new update with seasons and heating I have now tried out several new saves and in each one none of my farms are working. Everything appears to be normal, all the fields are connected, I have storage silo connected, I have power and workers close by and the farm itself says 'everything working normal' - but it isn't, none of my farms vehicles will do anything, they just won't leave the farm and go to work so there is no sowing, no harvesting and nothing for the trucks to collect. All the new saves I've tried this on are 'random' generated maps so I don't know if that is maybe the issue?
All my old saves still work great and I have no issues in those.

Thanks....

Farms seem to be seasonal now and I think work might be determined by temperature. I have noticed they will start in spring but then might stop for a bit, I'm assuming this is related to a short temperature drop, then start again.

OK thank you John, I'll look into that side of it. Although this problem seems to be happening right through from the start of the game up to June, I didn't go any further than June though before I sacked the game and tried another one.

Yeah, I noticed when I played last night that temps can still drop in June. Tractors working a field would finish then go back to the farm for a bit and then start again. Once 'summer' temps arrive though they work normally.
I don't know if farming values have been tweaked because of the reduced time available but they did seem to be very productive once going. I suddenly had to start building a load more crop storage.
Another thing I have noticed is harvested crops not collected from fields when the farms stop working in autumn won't last. They disappear during the winter, presumably they rot.

Good day johntarmac, did you resolve the farming problem? I built a farm in July and it doesn't seem to work. I put the vehicles and everything but none would start. When the farming season starts? And do we miss the farming season if we are too late?

I think July might be too late. I had a farm working fine, then I added a field in July, but that one field did not get sowed until the next year.

I think usally the tractors start in april with seeding, harvesting is possible till the first snow comes

Hello ozac, as David said, it looks like you've missed the season in your present year. If it's all set up you should be good to go in the spring.
