How to rotate a building?
I am stuck in the very first tutorial. I try to place a building, but it is at the wrong orientation and I can't get it to rotate. I am using a laptop with no mouse, just a pad. What is the rotation command?

it's the mouse wheel but since you don't have a mouse you have to reset it in settings

R rotates by 90 degrees.

reset rotate building/ scale cursor in the key setting menu (the one with the mouse icon).

In my experience, it's very hard to play this game without a mouse. I think it would be wise to add mouse to system requirements.
